Human Trafficking Awareness Poster
Notice there is no imagery on this poster. I think it's more important to provide accurate information than to perpetuate sometimes misleading imagery about sex and labor trafficking. To keep the message as accurate as possible, I used copy from Polaris Project, a Nonprofit Organization that works to end sex and labor trafficking in North America. The QR code brings viewers to their website.

"Twinz" Cartoon Strip
Project for my Illustration I class final. We were to create 2 comic strips that could fit into a long running comic strip series.
The Story:
My cartoon series is titled "TWINZ". The characters are (fraternal) twins: Boo (the scared balloon) and Spike (the spiky-haired "wannabe" rebel).
"TWINZ" is a comic strip about fear. More often than not, our fears are much greater than the reality.
"TWINS" is a whimsical spin on this idea. Everything is from the balloon character, Boo's, perspective. Boo is afraid of his twin, Spike, and his spiked hair. Boo lives in constant fear that Spike will pop Boo, a balloon. However, Spike only dresses like a rebel; in reality, Spike is good kid who is really bad at getting in trouble. Spike is also afraid of his surroundings; However, Spike's fear manifests in a much different way than Boo. In each comic, I present Boo's fear before the reality.
